South Tyrol’s number-one ski mountain offers a total of 119 kilometres of slopes and 32 ultra-modern lifts. In winter, it is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders, and in summer for hiking fans and mountain bikers. The mountain cable car to Plan de Corones/Kronplatz is also open in summer. In addition, a free daily bike shuttle runs from St. Vigil to the Furkelpass, which is where freeriders and bikers can take the lift. At the top, at 2,275 metres above sea level, you will find one of the six Messner Mountain Museums, the MMM Corones, dedicated to alpinism, and the LUMEN art museum.
